The Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible: An Illustrated Encyclopedia Identifying and Explaining All Proper Names and Significant Terms and Subject
Published in Hardcover by Abingdon Press (October, 1976)
Authors: Keith R. Crim, Victor P. Furnish, and Lloyd R. Bailey
Average review score:

An Excellent Bible Dictionary
I am a college senior and I used this book to research a large paper. I found this to be a very useful tool. I really like the way the books of the Bible are broken down into different sections. This makes it easy to understand. I also like the way that the book explains something and then gives the specific verse(s) in the Bible it deals with. I really found this to be an excellent and useful book. I looked at several different Bible dictionaries and this one is the best I have found. I highly recommend it.

The Invisible Drug

Author: William Everett Bailey
Average review score:

Very informative!
I love this book for the simple reason that it encourages me to stay away from nicotine (I quit 3 weeks ago). I was looking for a book for ex-smokers and this is the best I found so far! It tells all about the dangers and politics of big tobacco. Useful for anyone who wants a well-researched and detailed account of why you should not start smoking (great for teens), why you should stop, and how non-smokers should protect themselves from second-hand smoke. Highly recommended!

The Jasta War Chronology: A Complete Listing of Claims and Losses, August 1916-November 1918
Published in Hardcover by Grub Street the Basement (October, 1998)
Authors: Norman Franks, Rick Duiven, and Frank W. Bailey
Average review score:

First rate piece of research
The Jasta War Chronology is a first rate piece of research, and such is nothing less than what one could expect from Norman Franks and his fellow contributors. If you are looking for a book to read cover to cover then this is not it. But valuable research it is. Simply put, it is a compilation of various raw records into a refined system which allows the reader to track the daily claims and losses of German fighter units in World War One. In essence, it fits as close to a primary source document as most can get regarding this topic, and the reader is able to follow nearly every German pilot's career. The additional explanitory notes are highly valuable, as they often show the name of the Allied flyers shot down, and their fate. One can use this material to cross-reference it to other lists and reports in order to fill in gaps regarding certain aspects of WW I aviation. Franks and his crew have certainly done their homework, and this is a "must" reference work for any serious student of WW I aviation.

Justice Betrayed
Published in Paperback by Overmountain Press (November, 2002)
Author: Daniel Bailey
Average review score:

fascinating thriller
Life is quiet in the small South Carolina town of Winslow, situated five miles from the Georgia border. The sheriff's office is located in a mall because there is not much crime in the peaceful town that is until Richard Welch arrives on the run from DEA officials and kills state trooper Dan Colby. The residents are horrified that such a crime could happen in their area and eagerly await the trial to see justice done.

On the day when Richard Welch is to have his day in court, he escapes and a search of the area yields no sign of the former prisoner. Cassie O'Connor, a television reporter based in Columbia, sees this story as a way into the big leagues but her investigation seems blocked at every turn. She doesn't know that the killer is tied to a drug lord's cartel or that federal investigations have special plans for Mr. Welch.

JUSTICE BETRAYED is a fascinating tale of how far the federal government will go to win the war on illegal drugs. The story line is fast-paced and is so realistic that readers will think they have a front row seat to a riveting thriller. Daniel Bailey has a distinct and refreshing writing style that leads this reviewer to conclude that he will have a long run as a successful author.

Kilmer's Pet Monster
I like this book because there was this pet contest the kids are going to have at Bailey Elementary School. Kilmer, (a boy that looks kind of like a frankenstein) has a pet named Bruno. His pet is a mysterious pet and noone ever saw it. Ben a friend of Kilmer was going to borrow Kilmer's pet spider because Kilmer's grandmother, a witch put a spell on those spiders. Kilmer didn't take Bruno at the pet contest because it was out of control and wouldn't get on the leash, but Ben shared the spiders with Kilmer.
